In one of my favorite Ugly Betty moments of all time Betty and the gang visit a Medieval Times like restaurant. After Nick beats up Henry he decides to gloat to Betty. A fed up Betty takes the matter into her own hands and gives the jerk a big dose of his own medicine. What have we learned here? Women don’t need a knight in shining armor just a really big jousting stick! Season 1 is on DVD now and this scene you will be watching again and again.

I saw the TV promo for Season 2 last night and looks like were in for a great new season! Ugly Betty promo pics are above and the images are clickable. Check out this very cool YouTube video in which a Ugly Betty fan has merged all the Season 2 promo pics into a music video.

My clip love fest continues in honor of Season 1 being released on DVD this week! In this scene Daniel proves to Betty just how much he values her help. After giving her a crappy trophy for Administrative Professionals Day he makes up with a very expensive present! Once again proving that buried beneath his self absorbed rich boy facade lies a heart of gold. The lesson here? Sometimes good things actually happen to good people.

Catch the Super Special episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody starring none other than Ugly Betty’s young hero Mark Indelicato! Zack, Maddie, London and the rest of the gang are all auditioning for a role in the school stage production of High School Musical. Mark Indelicato is playing a boy named Antonio who gets the part he wants. All this will lead up to next week’s premiere of the most anticipated kid’s movie of all time High School Musical 2, which at this point might have even more fans than Harry Potter! The episode entitled “Lip Synchin’ in the Rain” airs tonight at on Disney Channel; check your local listings for time.

For Season 2 Ugly Betty seems to be making some rather interesting choices for guest stars. First theirs Victoria Beckham whose best know for being married to Soccer star David Beckham and for being a singer in the I-wish-they-would-stay-retired girl group the Spice Girls. Now Vanessa Williams is set to reunite with her ex-husband Rick Fox on the show, where he will be playing her love interest and her body guard of all things. Is anyone else getting a flash back to Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner courtesy The Bodyguard film? Fox a retired NBA player for the Los Angeles Lakers is booked for at least 2 episodes.

The real question is can Posh and Rick Fox act? Posh’s role is reported to be a cameo which shouldn’t be too much of a stretch but Fox’s role will definitely require more acting chops. Here’s hoping both of them are up to the challenge and don’t leave the fans disappointed. If nothing else I can’t wait to see why Wilhelmina needs a bodyguard. I’m guessing Claire Meade wants her husband back! On the fashion front Ugly Betty is making some very wise choices with none other than fashion icon Kenneth Cole set to guest star.

Best Red Carpet Look: America Ferrera at the 2007 Imagen awards where she won best actress honors for Ugly Betty and the creative achievement award. Ana Ortiz was also honored for best supporting actress and the show received honors for best prime time series.

Best Career Move: Salma Hayek might be pregnant and planning a wedding to a billionaire but that hasn’t slowed her down any! George Lopez is in talks to co write, star in and produce a film from her production company.

Best Guest Star: Posh. No I have no desire to see her on Ugly Betty but obviously from all of the buzz surrounding her cameo appearance it should be great for ratings!
