America Ferrera helps rock the vote!

America Ferrera has joined on to become a spokesperson for Declare Yourself. The nonpartisan media campaign is looking to empower young people at age 18 to register to vote and actually get them out to vote for the 2008 presidential elections.

Declare Yourself includes the far reaching resources of Myspace, Yahoo and Comedy Central among many others. The nonpartisan group is focusing on 18 year olds because research has shown registering and voting at age 18 is the best way to turn voting into a life long habit. Hero’s Hayden Panettiere will serve as a spokesperson alongside Ferrera. Source
