Bad News? Writers on Strike & Lo Guest Star

Will Linsday Lohan get Ugly?

As of last week Silvio Horta and Marco Pennette Ugly Betty writers are among the who’s who list of writers that have signed a pledge in support of the Writers Guild of America strike. According to the pledge they will do no writing whatsoever while the strike continues and neither will their writing staff be asked too. Show star America Ferrera has also been spotted joining the picket line outside the Hollywood TV Studios. In fact most of the main cast has shown their support in some way.

However Ashley Jensen reported that they only have enough episodes till sometime in December! Ashley made this comment while in the UK at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards in London. She was named Ultimate Woman on TV. Other honorees included Angelina Jolie for Ultimate Woman Who Made Us Care for humanitarian efforts, Cameron Diaz was honored for Ultimate Lady Of Film and singer Rihanna won the honor for Ultimate Mistress of Music.

Besides the strike theirs more bad news for some Ugly Betty fans. Well its only bad news if you’re one of the many who love to hate Lindsay Lohan. It’s mostly rumors at this point but the talk is she might be guest staring in a three episode arc. As yet no one from ABC has confirmed this, and with the ongoing strike who knows.

Is Lindsay Lohan a good fit for Ugly Betty? Well she’s controversial and train wrecks always make good ratings. In her days before joining the The Three Skank-a-teers (Lindsay Lohan, Brittney Spears and of course Paris Hilton) she proved her range as an actress so this would be a very smart move on her part and allow her to show how “reformed” she’s become.
