You Can Win a Date with Eric Mabius! Their is not much time left but if you just happen to be in New York’s Time Square on May 2 at lunch time then this could be your lucky day! Eric Mabius will be there to help Oscar Mayer launch a new sandwich.

If you enter the hot lunch date contest you get to sit down with Eric for a one on one and you get a free lunch it’s a win-win situation here. Not that anybody is interested in the meat with Eric in the building! If you do win I’d love to know the details.

Becki Newton has a very interesting interview with TV Guide. She mentions how much she likes to shake her booty on the set and stalking Tim Gunn from Project Runway. Her personality really shines through in the interview and it is a lot of fun to read!

I won the “hot lunch date” with Eric Mabius in Times Square on May 2nd. I just happened to be there in the right place at the right time.

It was a quite bizarre and hilarious experience eating a sandwich on stage in front of the paparazzi and a few hundred people in the middle of Times Square. They even had a violinist and a waiter who served us sparkling grape juice (unfortunately, it was not champagne!).

Eric was very easy to talk to. When he found out that I am Australian, he told me about his friendship with Alan Dale, the Australian actor who plays Daniel Meade’s father on the show. Alan Dale used to be on the Australian TV soap, Neighbours, until 1993. His character, Jim Robinson, died of a heart attack on Neighbours. 12 years later, his character on the OC, Caleb Nicol, also died of a heart attack. This leads me to the obvious question… is Alan Dale jinxed and will Bradford Meade be killed off Ugly Betty due to a heart attack??

  2. Dorothy Says:

Marnie congratulations and thanks for dropping by and sharing the info with us! You couldn’t ask for a cuter lunch date. Good question about Alan Dale being jinxed he’s already got his own daughter plotting to kills him so he might just be jinxed!
