First of all, I’m so excited to be the new blogger at WatchingUglyBetty.com. Ugly Betty is one of my favorite shows so I can’t wait for the new season.

I’m Lynn and I blog also for 451 Press at Wii Rally, Ms State College, and Creative Mom Cafe. Can you tell that I like blogging? Blogging’s my favorite. Sorry, slipped into the new Facebook group I joined about smiles in homage to Elf(Will Ferrel movie).

Anyway, I’m looking forward to talking about Ugly Betty, the cast, doing show recaps, and more fun stuff.

And The Strike Keeps Marching On And On…

Betty Is All New!

This writer’s are really digging in their heels and the strike seems to be showing no signs of letting up. But we did get a new episode of Ugly Betty Thursday “Zero Worship” and unless it’s canceled we should be getting another new episode next week. So what will we do when January ends? To depressing to even think about.

The one good thing about this strike is its given me a lot of time to catch up on some areas of this blog that need updating. Look for expansion of my Trivia area and Actors Profile category. New Season 2 recaps are coming next week and if I’m really lucky I can update all the missing recaps from Season 1 that happened before I started blogging about the show (more on new categories for the blog next week.)

Ugly Betty Season 1 is coming to DVD!

Ugly Betty is coming to DVD! Just in time to create buzz for Season 2 ABC is releasing Ugly Betty to DVD this summer. Now you can relive all the best moments from Season 1 or if you were one of those casual viewers who watched Survivor instead of Ugly Betty now’s the time to play catch up. The Complete First Season of Ugly Betty – The Bettyfied Edition will be available on August 21, 2007.

The 6 disc DVD set also includes some great extras. You can go behind the scenes with audio commentary, deleted scenes, bloopers and much more. The DVD can be preordered now from Amazon for American and Canadian audiences for a 35 percent discount. No word yet on when Season 1 will be available in other locations.
