Ugly Betty Epsiode Rundown
Tuesday, April 21st, 2009
This week started off on the right foot as we received the news that Ugly Betty will return April 30th, a week earlier than scheduled.
The April 30th episode is entitled ‘Rabbit Test.’ Apparently we will meet Matt’s dad Calvin Hartley(played by David Rasche) who will invite our favorite Mode employees to his annual Easter egg hunt. Also Wilhemina wonders if William is really her son.
May 7th’s episode is ‘The Born Identity.’ It looks like Calvin Hartley is prepared to give Mode a bailout when baby William is kidnapped. Archie asks Hilda to be part of his next political campaign.
‘In the Stars’ will air May 14th and feature singer Adele. This is the episode that is suppose to have the impromptu wedding.
May 21st there will be back-to-back episodes titled ‘Curveball’ and ‘The Fall Issue.’
As each day passes, we are one day closer to the return of ‘Ugly Betty.’ Even though it’s not currently on air, the spoilers keep rolling in about future episodes.
Betty meets Matt’s mom, Hilda’s family sets her up with Councilman Archie, Wilhemina sells some of her favorite things, and Daniel comes to accept an important decision from Molly. A lot happened and as far as episodes, it was OK. Not the best but pretty good. More after the jump.
Mode is in financial shambles while Betty faces her own financial family crisis. The plot of the show was fun and seemed to borrow from the current financial state of the country.
As I was watching last week’s episode “Things Fall Apart,” I thought what a wonderful song they played at the end with the montage of characters. And of course, it wasn’t listed in the credits and I didn’t record the episode. My Internet connection is through satellite, so streaming video is a no no. Therefore, I couldn’t watch the episode again to hear the song.
When things fall apart at Mode, things really fall apart at Mode. This week’s episode had several relationships unraveling and the ramifications of some actions will be felt at Meade Publications for a while.
This week’s episode looks to be the unraveling of several plots. Mode is in financial trouble and Betty is set up to take the fall. Molly has something to tell Daniel while Daniel may want to take their relationship to the next level. Here are two clips.
Last week’s “Ugly Betty” had some cute one liners as always. Here are a few of my favorite that I actually jotted down.
This week’s episode of ‘Ugly Betty’ has the staff busy with Fashion Week and Betty with a new YETI assignment. Wilhemina works to get back on top in the fashion world as Daniel gives Molly as makeover. Also Christina goes into labor.
There were plenty of memorable quotes from last week’s ‘Ugly Betty’ episode The Courtship of Betty’s Father. The plots for the episode included Betty making a videotape for Claire’s surprise 60th birthday party, Ignacio dating his nurse, and the new couples building memories. Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the episode.
Once again I missed the first part of ‘Ugly Betty.’ The good news is that it was only about the first 5 minutes so basically the set up for all the plots that would unfold.
