Vanessa Williams admitted to Barbara Walters that she uses Botox during her interview. Kudos to Vanessa for being bold enough to admit she uses Botox. Their are a lot of Hollywood stars that should be so upfront. The annual Oscar edition of The Barbara Walters Special also interviewed Harrison Ford, Miley Cyrus and Juno Academy Award nominee Ellen Page. During her interview Vanessa also discussed her surprise that Barbara even called her since she’s been working in the industry for over 20 years and how Ugly Betty has helped reinvigorate her career. Vanessa also discussed the fact the she misses being in a relationship and shared her experiences with racism while growing up.

Will Amanda get closer to her father’s identity? Can Betty change the “size” of fashion?

On an all new episode of Ugly Betty Amanda visits a psychic to get information on the identity of her real father. Betty gives Justin and some school classmates a tour of Mode. She quickly realizes that Mode’s size zero emaciated models are sending the wrong message and campaigns for Daniel to use “real” models for fashion week.

Wilhelmina continues to do what she loves best, trying to worm her way into the Meade family dynasty by any means necessary. Now for some news to make all the tweens and teens scream. Guest stars for this episode are rapper Bow Wow and former B2K singer and R&B sensation Omarion. The two will be performing on the show.

Episode #8: I See Me, I.C.U.
Charm School meets Ugly Betty tonight!

Wilhelmina’s wedding was supposed to be the social event of the season. Instead it ended up more like wedding disasters caught on tape when the groom collapsed at the alter! But But alls well that ends well because you can’t keep a good villain down! Wilhelmina is already up and plotting her next move. Can she succeed and overcome this wedding debacle? Will Bradford be gullible enough to forgive her? After all he couldn’t figure out she didn’t want him in the first place. Luckily he collapsed at the wedding before saying “I Do” but Wilhelmina could still convince him even in the face of Daniel telling him she’s sleeping with the bodyguard.

Wilhelmina isn’t the only one trying to get into someone’s good graces. Henry has to use all of his charm and nerd sexy in order to get past Mode’s weekend receptionist and retrieve something of vital importance for Betty. What could be so important? Will Daniel come to his senses and rehire Betty? True she made a mistake but he needs her and he’s made his fair share of mistakes.

Comedian Mo’Nique will be starring as the weekend receptionist named L’Amanda who has a thing for Henry. This episode is worth seeing just for the kiss these two share! Theirs also the title with “I.C.U.” standing for intensive care unit and Bradford in the hosptial I assume. Stay tuned!

Episode # 7: A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding
Will Wilhelmina get wedded bliss and the magazine of her dreams?

Thursday night on Ugly Betty the long awaited wedding of Wilhelmina and Bradford takes place. Will the wedding go off without a hitch? Will the Bride even make it all the way down the aisle? Somehow I doubt it! The much buzzed about guest appearance of Posh from the Spice Girls finally occurs. Victoria Beckham is playing herself as the maid of honor to Wilhelmina. Vera Wang herself cameo’s and designs Posh and Wilhelmina’s wedding gowns. Wilhelmina does not take well to anyone disrupting her plans or stealing her thunder so what will she do when Posh steals the spotlight at her own wedding?

Betty is still dealing with the guilt over the secret pact she made with Wilhelmina. In which she agreed to keep secret Wilhelmina’s daytime sexcapades with her bodyguard (played by ex-husband Rick Fox) in exchange for getting Ignacio out of Mexico. Ignacio is excited about becoming a U.S. citizen, finally! But Betty has some news that puts a damper on his excitement and strains their normally close relationship. What’s Betty’s news? She’s moving in with Henry!

Episode #6: Something Wicked This Way Comes
Betty, Henry and Gio make three tonight on Ugly Betty!

Betty has a love triangle interest of her own to sort out tonight. She and Henry are trying to continue their romance with a secret date to the Broadway production of the Tony award winning musical Wicked. However Daniel goofs and thinks that Betty is dating Gio (Freddy Rodriguez) and gives the two of them the tickets instead. Gio has the hots for Betty and refuses to give up the tickets.

How will Betty handle this love triangle? Apparently with a lot of noise since she actually ends up interrupting the show. The Wicked scenes for Ugly Betty are shot at the Pantages Theatre and features the Wicked cast. While Betty is unlucky in love Daniel attempts to score with an older woman. Marlo Thomas guest stars as an advertiser who has a thing for younger men and Daniel pimps himself out for the magazine.

Tonight on Ugly Betty: Betty is ready to get over Henry and move on with her life. How will she find true love? Internet dating! However Henry is less than thrilled when Betty gets asked out on a bowling date. Marc can’t believe it when he finds himself attracted to a chubby photographer which is definitely not his type. Daniel and Alexis are going to have to “grin and bare it” to make it through a family dinner with Wilhelmina. Hilda is too wrapped up in her own world to notice that Justin is running around with the wrong crowd and ditching school.

Tonight in the all new episode of Ugly Betty: “Grin and Bear it”

Betty finally takes steps toward her goal of one day running her own magazine when she signs up for a writing class. The class is so challenging Betty ends up trashing the story she wrote and instead submitting a story from Mode. In it a woman recounts how she survived a bear attack. Of course this ends up being bad news for Betty and I can’t believe she stole someone else’s work. Amanda gains possession of a deep dark secret from Wilhelmina’s past. Somehow this secret will reveal clues to who her father is. Maybe through blackmailing of Wilhelmina? That would be fun to see.

Alexis comes back to work and has no idea on how to “act” like a girl, maybe she’s still grabbing her boobs or hasn’t yet mastered high heels. Sounds like lots of laughs to me either way! Mode’s top advertiser suggests to Daniel that he fire Alexis. James Van Der Beek famous for the title character on “Dawson’s Creek” where Dawson has an on again off again relationship with Katie Holmes character guest stars as Mode’s top advertiser. If that isn’t enough to get you tuned in for this episode Justin is making out with a girl in the Promo and Daniel seems to be involved in a little bit of dominatrix play.

Episode 3 Betty’s Wait Problem premieres tonight!

Premise: Henry is sort of back in Betty’s life but Betty finds herself distracted by Gio (Freddy Rodriguez). Gio is the new Mode sandwich guy and Betty finds herself both intrigued and annoyed by him. The Mode gang is preparing for the Meades’ Black and White Ball. Bradford informed Wilhelmina he wants to postpone the wedding but Wilhelmina is already plotting how to get her wedding back on track. Claire decides to crash the party, and Amanda plans on using it to announce to the world she’s Fey Sommers illegitimate daughter. Fashion designer Kenneth Cole will also make a guest appearance in this episode.

What I can’t wait to see!: Some more of Claire and Wilhelmina throwing down! Wilhelmina sure can’t take a punch but she does have a huge bodyguard to protect her now. Daniel’s response to finding out that Amanda could possibly be his sister. That would be so nasty…but still kind of funny! Will Yoga (Claire Meade’s prison escapee friend) be attending the party? Her character is hilarious and should definitely spice up the straight laced Meade party. Ignacio seems to have some secrets in Mexico. Will we finally get to the bottom of his past or will he end up dead from a gunman?

How to follow it up: The theme for this episode seems to be all about daddies! After Ugly Betty ends stay tuned for a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Meredith has been having some serious daddy issues of her own as well. Then check out the Californication recap and catch up on Hank Moody’s daddy issues.

Episode 2 of Season 2 or Episode 24

The Beginning: Staff meeting

Betty and the rest of the Mode staff are in a meeting and Wilhelmina is reading the letter from the editor. Betty tries to get a bagel by leaning behind her and knocks over the whole table and disturbs the meeting. Marc is polite enough to whisper to her that no one notices but of course everyone noticed. Betty asks Wilhelmina shouldn’t the editor (Daniel) be writing the letter from the editor and Wilhelmina quickly shuts her up.

At the hospital Daniel informs Betty that Alexis doesn’t remember the last 2 years of her life as Alexis keeps hilariously grabbing her boobs (which makes Betty grab her own boobs as well). Betty convinces Daniel to take a look at the book (the current issue) before it goes to press. Daniel still blames himself for the accident and doesn’t know how to break the news to Alexis of everything she’s missed. Including: Claire Meade is on the run from the law (Alexis later sees this on TV), their father rejected her, Claire and Bradford are divorcing and Bradford’s going to marry Wilhelmina.

Back at Mode Marc sends off the hair samples from Amanda and Bradford to see if he’s her father. The test will take 24 hours meanwhile Amanda has already contacted Fey Sommers lawyers to see how much of her estate she is entitled to receive.

At the Suarez home boxes are everywhere. Hilda is going through all of Santos belongings from his apartment. Hilda also took the time to brown bag a lunch for Justin on his first day at Mode but he rejects it. Hilda lets Justin know how proud of him she is and how proud Santos would be too.

Wilhelmina introduces her new bodyguard Dwayne to Marc. Marc uses the bodyguard for a bit of fun when Betty comes into the office by telling the man she’s Claire Meade and poor Betty ends up in a hold. When Wilhelmina finally gets him to let her down Betty asks her for the book to show Daniel. Wilhelmina dismisses her so Betty turns to Marc who’s even less help. He does however let it slip that the book is in Wilhelmina’s apartment. When Betty sees Marc open his desk drawer to give a key to Wilhelmina’s apartment to Dwayne she waits till he walks out and steals one!

I’m highlighting my top favorite quotes from the Season 2 premiere. I’m sure their were more but this time this was all I caught! Maybe because the episode was so sad.

Episode 24: How Betty got her Grieve Back is finally ready! The new episode will be loaded by Monday.

The Beginning: Picks up 3 weeks after the Season 1 finale

Betty has fallen asleep on the couch and dreams she’s in a telenovela dressed as a maid. As she cries over Henry and Charlie together Henry comes in and tells her he loves her. The two start to kiss when Charlie shows up very pregnant and holding a gun and Henry chooses her instead. Justin wakes up Betty and the two talk for a moment. They mention Hilda has been hiding out in her room for the last three weeks, and they both miss Ignacio who is still stuck in Mexico waiting on a Visa. Betty rushes off to work and Justin is off to summer camp.

Upstairs Hilda is in bed, and Santos comes out the bathroom with bandages wrapped around his torso. Santos wants to go home but Hilda is afraid to let him out of her site since the shooting. She tells him they have a great setup and turns on Fashion TV where Wilhelmina is given an interview on her wedding and the Meade sibling’s car crash.

We find out that Daniel is expected to make a full recovery while Alexis remains in a coma. In some really fake crying Wilhelmina assures everyone that Alexis blinked to let her know to go forward with her wedding plans.

Claire sees the show as well and throws a drink at the TV. She and Yoga (the women who helped her escape from prison) are hiding out in the Hamptons. Upset over her children and still drinking like a sailor Claire is sure if she can see Bradford she can fix the situation she’s in.
Wilhelmina has changed his cell and email and moved into her house but Claire thinks a disguise might work.

Amanda is not handling the news of Fey Sommers being her mother well. She’s gained a ton of weight and using candy as her crutch. Marc tries to convince her to call her parents but she’s afraid to find out the truth. However when Wilhelmina mistakes her from the back as Betty she agrees.

Betty visits Daniel in the hospital; he’s supposed to leave that day but doesn’t think he’s ready. Betty tells him he can’t keep using the pain pills to escape his pain. She tells Daniel to try talking to Alexis while she’s in the coma.

A much darker show than normal the Season Finale of Ugly Betty didn’t include as many great quotes as normal but their was still plenty of fun and snarkiness to keep the fans entertained. So enjoy!

The season finale of Ugly Betty was full of a lot of shocking moments. Some I saw coming and some were out of left field. Season one of Ugly Betty wrapped up with some huge moments. A jail break out, a new life is created, and a popular character is apparently killed off in the darkest and most bittersweet episode from the series yet.

Betty has decided to fight for Henry and she leaves him a voice message in the office telling him she really needs to talk to him. When Daniel comes in trying to hide his face Betty gives him his present from Mexico. A Mystic Rock that will help him on his journey of enlightenment. When she sees his black eye (which he has not so cleverly covered in makeup) Daniel lies and tells her he banged his face against a rock when he was rescuing a drowning girl scout in Central Park. An impressed Betty gives him the Sombrero that she bought for Henry.

Wilhelmina is lying in bed when Bradford places a small box on the pillow beside her. Of course it’s an engagement ring which Bradford designed him self in the shape of a blooming flower to represent their blooming love. She accepts of course and privately makes a face of disgust at Bradford’s hideous ring.

Bradford’s current wife Claire knows that Wilhelmina is behind Bradford’s sudden withdrawal from her. He’s stopped taking her calls and had the divorce papers delivered. But she, Yoga and two other inmates have a plan to bust out of the big house and get Claire face to face with her cheating husband. The key to the plan is Sugar-Free Shirley. Claire and the members of her “gang” pass a candy bar to Sugar-Free Shirley a diabetic and tell her she will get $50,000 placed in her daughter’s bank account for eating the candy and going into diabetic shock while being transported upstate tomorrow.

Alexis is already panicking after paying Mr. Wolf to kill her father and she calls him to find out when the situation when happen. He tells her it will happen when it happens and not to contact him again. When the phone call is over Betty walks in and tells Alexis about Daniel’s heroic deed.

Alexis knows Daniel is lying since she was the one who actually saved a drowning kid in Central Park when they were teens. So she suggests Betty arrange a press conference to “reward” Daniel for his heroism.

Daniel is still popping pills in his office when Betty comes in. He lies again and tells her their mints. She sees Henry at her desk and asks for a mint but of course Daniel tells her she doesn’t need one. Betty looking for somewhere private to talk with Henry takes him to the copier room.

A newly determined Betty tells Henry that in love you rarely ever get what you want but if you don’t fight for it you have even less of a chance. She tells Henry she is fighting for him and thinks they would be amazing together and he makes her mouth go dry every time he walks into a room.
