Watching Ugly Betty

What a perfect name for this episode of Ugly Betty. In this episode we see the “brothers” Daniel and Alexis carrying on sibling rivalry at its most gruesome. Each brother is determined to get the upper hand and gain control over the company. Alexis lays down the gauntlet by firing Daniel and putting Wilhelmina in charge at a staff meeting. But Daniel is prepared for her and his lawyers have an injunction stopping her. Even though Alex had rights in the company as his fathers eldest son he was declared legally dead and Alexis has no authority to fire Daniel.

The sibling rivalry does not end there. The brothers duke it out at a press conference in front of everyone and Daniel becomes jealous when he sees his mother is happy to have her eldest son back in her life.

Betty has been trying to keep the peace between the brothers with Claire’s help they come up with a plan to bring the brothers back together. Turns out all it takes to squelch sibling rivalry is some good old fashioned bumper car fun? Their rivalry now over the brothers agree to work together. When Wilhelmina finds out that once again she has been double crossed by a member of the Meade family she is furious and we can be sure that she is going to get revenge on the entire Meade clan!

Meanwhile at the Suarez home Justin gets in a fight at school. Santos (his father) was worried that Justin got beat up because the other kids thought he was too soft but Justin the gallant gentleman that he is got in a fight defending his mother’s honor when some kid insulted her sexy manner of dressing. Hilda is worried and tries to dress conservatively but Justin reassures her he loves her just the way she is.

Walter and Betty are pretty much broken up and Betty gets asked out by Henry, finally! Betty now has a clear field to go on a date with Henry, but another twist takes place! Henry’s ex girl friend is back in town (played by actress Jayma Mays) and Henry wants to get back together with her.

Fans of Hero’s will remember Jayma as the waitress that Hiro feel in love with and tried to go back in time to save her life. Just like in Hero’s she plays a character that is too sweet you just can’t hate her, (most of this storyline will take place next week)

Best Moment: Wilhelmina watching on her hidden camera as the office has a party celebrating her leaving.

Surprise Ending: Claire reveals to Betty that it wasn’t her husband who had Faye killed, it was her! Will she remember this next week when she’s not drunk, can’t wait to see!

Hero’s, Jayma Mays, sibling rivalry, Ugly Betty,
